Mechanical Fitter / Welder - Afternoon Shift | Wetherill Park

Location: Wetherill Park, NSW

Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Duration: 3-month contract with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with welding skills to join their maintenance team based in Wetherill Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson looking for a reliable afternoon shift with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance activities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks as required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

To Be Successful You Will Have





- Mechanical fitting experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Welding experience
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding/troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Excellent communication skills
- A reliable work ethic and strong attendance record

Desirable (but not essential)

- Limited Electrical Licence
