About the Role

Working alongside our qualified electricians and project teams, you will assist with the installation of commercial solar PV systems on a variety of projects. You'll gain valuable hands‑on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist electricians with commercial solar PV installations.

- Transport and organise tools, equipment, and materials.

- Install cable trays, conduits, and cable supports.

- Assist with DC and AC cable installation.

- Support inverter, switchboard, and equipment installations.

- Perform general labouring and site housekeeping.

- Work safely at heights while following all WHS requirements.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.





- Travel to project sites as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

- Positive with a strong willingness to learn.

- Able to work effectively within a team.

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

- Safety-focused with excellent attention to detail.

- Professional and respectful when dealing with clients and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

- Current White Card.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Ability to work at heights.

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol testing if required.

Highly Desirable

- Previous experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant.

- Commercial solar installation experience.

- Working at Heights certification.

- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.

- Forklift licence.

- First Aid/CPR certification.

- High Risk Work Licence.

- Electrical apprenticeship (current or completed) or desire to commence one.
