Psych Connect Pty Ltd is seeking a Clinical/Registered Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Springfield Central, QLD 4300, this role offers a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families seeking psychological support and intervention. As a Clinical/Registered Psychologist, you will be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients across a diverse range of presenting concerns. Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews with clients presenting with various mental health concerns
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualised treatment plans utilising evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Providing psychological counselling and psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan
- Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, and allied health practitioners, to ensure coordinated and holistic client care
- Assessing risk and implementing appropriate safety protocols and crisis intervention strategies when necessary
- Contributing to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in psychological theory and practice
- Participating in clinical supervision and consultation to support quality outcomes and professional growth
- Providing feedback and recommendations to clients and referring professionals regarding assessment findings and treatment progress
What we’re looking for
- Current General Registration with AHPRA(or will receive within 4 weeks from application)
- Experience providing evidence-based psychological interventions
- Competence in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload independently
- Strong risk assessment and case formulation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, ethical practice, and confidentiality
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
