Helping administer and maintain a fleet of Linux servers.
Learning to contribute to the uplift and security of the baseline SOE image in line with the ASD ISM.
Picking up new and novel ways to manage and secure infrastructure.
Working in a small, focused team.

Some hands‑on exposure to Linux administration, whether through work, study or a home lab.
Basic scripting or command line comfort, for example Bash or Python.
Understanding of basic networking concepts.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging ways of operating.
Security clearance, but we may be able to support no clearance requirement depending on the applicant (sponsorship is mandatory).
Nice to have
Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Packer.
Familiarity with Git workflows.
Exposure to observability stacks such as Grafana, Elastic or Prometheus.
Awareness of container stacks such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, including personal projects.
Relevant certifications, for example Linux+ or AWS/Azure fundamentals.
Baseline clearance or above.
What do we offer?
Working from home? You bet. We don't mind where you work, we have a hybrid work culture that supports the way you want to work.
Fair pay? No doubt. We're sure you're worth it.
Training? Obviously. We want our people to be the best, and to keep it that way we need to invest, simple.
