OPS Screening & Crushing Equipment - Rutherford NSW

We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to support our operations at our facility in Rutherford, NSW. Some of your duties will include:

- Prestart checks for workshop plant and equipment including forklifts, cranes and vehicles.
- Operation of hand tools, power tools, lifting and access equipment.
- Assist trades employees with preventative maintenance, service, production and upgrades to mineral processing and bulk materials handling equipment.
- Assist with machine loading / unloading activities.
- Stores activities for the branch as required, inclusive of participating in stocktake processes, picking and dispatch of customer orders.
- Proactively perform non-trade specific tasks incidental to set work.
- Prepare and maintain work areas in a safe and clean manner.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a self-starter with an excellent attitude. Our ideal candidate will be safety focused, have the drive and passion to learn our business and be a part of our team. You will have some previous work experience as a Trades Assistant.

To be successful for this role you will need to have the following:

- Full unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's License - HR desirable
- Previous experience working in a workshop environment.
- Experience with metal working equipment
- Be physically able to perform manual handling tasks - lifting up to 25kg
- Pro-active and self-motivated




- Have a robust personal belief in the importance of safety.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
