- Support the participant to attend community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and social events.
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support.
- Work collaboratively with the participant, their family, the Arabic-speaking support worker, and the wider support team to ensure effective, person-centred care.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation.
- Follow all NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding requirements, and duty of care responsibilities.
- Respect the participant's privacy, dignity, cultural background, and individual preferences at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who is compassionate,

dependable, and enjoys making a positive impact in people's lives.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in disability support, aged care, community services, or a similar role (preferred but not essential).

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Physical capability to provide manual assistance where required.
- A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and participant safety.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain).
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (preferred).
