Beerwah Golf Club is seeking a suitably qualified person for the role of Head Chef to join our friendly team for the efficient and effective operation of the Kitchen, Bistro and Functions facilities and areas.

This position is integral to providing an exceptional experience for members and guests and supporting the club’s overall growth and success. The Head Chef will work closely with the Clubhouse Manager, membership team, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with the club’s goals.

About Beerwah Golf Club

Beerwah Golf Club is situated in the Glass House Region of the Sunshine Coast. The Club has seen tremendous growth in the past five years, primarily due to two factors;

The increase in the popularity of Golf post Covid

The population explosion within the popular Sunshine Coast Region.

The Club is positioning itself, not only to be a first-class golf course but to be a Community Hub, developing services and amenities beyond the golf course itself. Currently, the club has approximately 1,300 members and hosts over 75,000 golfing guests every year.

Key responsibilities (include but not limited to)

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Club and its activities to provide informed support, advice and promotion to members, guests and visitors.

Provide leadership,



maintaining and enhancing the club’s culture.

Introduce initiatives that will optimise operations and processes of the Club’s food offering.

Monitor, deliver and report on kitchen Strategic Plan matters.

You will need:

Ideally to qualify for this position you will have experience in the following administration applications:

Work autonomously but also as part of an integrated and energetic Management team.

To maintain the Club’s exceptional and consistent level of service with a warm and inviting personality that treats and respects each member, guest, and visitor as special.

Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively prioritise and manage tasks.

Current Queensland Driver’s License and recent national police check (or willingness to obtain).

A friendly and professional manner with a focus on member and guest service.

Flexible and willing to contribute across various aspects of club operations.

A background or interest in golf would be advantageous.

Qualifications (desired but not essential)

Previous experience in similar roles.

Relevant food service and food safety qualifications.
