We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Administrator to support our Distribution Centre operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound stock, inventory accuracy, compliance adherence, and effective communication between the warehouse and office teams.
About the Role
Reporting to the Inbound Manager/Team leader, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across inbound functions with a strong focus on accurate inventory control and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Data entry and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Processing inbound paperwork and receipting stock into the system
- Supporting stock control, cycle counts and investigating stock discrepancies
- Assisting with inventory reconciliations and stock adjustments
- Maintaining compliance documentation in line with company and safety standards
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping for audits and reporting requirements
- Liaising with warehouse team leaders, transport providers and customer service
- Generating reports using Microsoft Excel
- Maintaining structured filing systems and administrative controls
- Assisting with general administration to support operational flow
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, inventory control or stock management
- Minimum 2+ years of warehouse administration experience is required
- Strong understanding of inventory processes, stock adjustments and reconciliation
- Experience maintaining compliance documentation and supporting audit processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory data
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel formulas is essential
- Confidence working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Reliability and the ability to meet daily operational deadlines
- Australian work rights are required for this position
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems will be highly regarded.
