Urban Sports Bar is a premium new venue opening at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast - a concept built around elevated Mediterranean-inspired plates, live sport, and a high-energy atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced chef to join our team at either Chef de Partie or Sous Chef level depending on your experience.

This is a hands-on role in a quality kitchen with a strong senior team around you. Whether you're stepping into a Sous Chef position or consolidating your skills at CDP level, there's a real opportunity to grow with the venue.

Mediterranean-inspired plates - visually strong, built for sharing, and designed to perform under pressure during high-volume service.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute your section to a consistently high standard across all prep and service periods
- Maintain mise en place and follow all recipe cards, plating guides and kitchen SOPs
- Support and mentor junior team members on your section
- Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation as required
- Hold the pass confidently and support the Head Chef during busy services
- Maintain food safety,



hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

What We're Looking For

- Solid experience as a CDP or Sous Chef in a quality, high-volume kitchen
- High standards on the pass - plating, presentation and consistency matter here
- Someone who works clean, sets up properly and takes ownership of their section
- A reliable, positive team member who communicates well under pressure
- Mediterranean or Greek cuisine experience is an advantage but not essential
- Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
