Carpenter (Full-Time) – Floraflooring Pty Ltd Fitzgibbon, QLD $78,000 + Superannuation Permanent, Full-Time Floraflooring Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing flooring company based in Fitzgibbon, Queensland. We specialise in the supply and installation of a wide range of flooring solutions including timber, laminate, vinyl, hybrid, bamboo, parquetry, and engineered wood. We are currently seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis under the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa – Core Skills stream.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise, reliability, and attention to detail to help meet the growing demand for high-quality flooring and carpentry services. Key Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, and install wooden flooring and related timber structures.
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Construct, install, and repair floor frameworks, subfloors, stairs, skirting, and trims.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.




- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site as needed.
- At least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience as a Carpenter within the last 5 years.
- Hold a relevant AQF Certificate III (or equivalent international qualification) including at least two years of on-the-job training, or a minimum of three years of relevant experience if no formal qualification.
- Meet the English language requirement unless exempt.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow instructions and plans.
- Strong understanding of Australian building and safety codes.
- Prior experience in the flooring industry.
- Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new techniques.
