We are currently seeking Qualified Diesel Mechanics to join a high-performing workshop team. The Opportunity
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a broad range of heavy vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
This role would suit a qualified Diesel Mechanic with approximately 2–3 years post-trade experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Complete breakdown repairs and troubleshooting activities
- Perform inspections and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and customer-focused team environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Approximately 2–3 years post-trade experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, earthmoving or related equipment
- Current driver's licence
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
