About the role

As our Spatial & UAV Engineering Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge spatial engineering services across Australia's energy, mining, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Working with advanced technologies including UAVs, terrestrial laser scanning, RTK GNSS, total stations and 3D modelling software, you'll contribute to high-profile projects while helping to shape and grow our expanding spatial capability.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality spatial surveying and engineering services from project planning through to data processing, analysis and client reporting.

You'll work across a diverse range of projects including:

- UAV surveying and aerial data capture.
- Terrestrial laser scanning.
- Engineering and topographic surveys.
- 3D point cloud processing and modelling.
- Volumetric calculations and stockpile assessments.




- Asset integrity and industrial inspections.
- Spatial data management and technical reporting.

This is a hands‑on role offering a balance of field and office work, with opportunities to travel to client sites across the East Coast.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver spatial engineering and surveying projects safely and efficiently.
- Capture, process and validate high-quality spatial datasets.
- Produce accurate models, reports and technical deliverables.
- Support project planning, methodology development and resource scheduling.
- Assist with proposals, tender responses and technical scoping.
- Contribute to improving systems, workflows and spatial technologies.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

About You

You’ll be a technically capable survey professional who enjoys solving complex problems and working with the latest surveying technologies.

Ideally you’ll have:

- Experience in engineering surveying, spatial surveying or geomatics.
- Practical experience with UAV operations, laser scanning, RTK GNSS and total station surveys.
- Experience processing point cloud and spatial datasets using industry software.
- Knowledge of volumetric calculations, 3D modelling and spatial analysis.




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience working within mining, oil & gas, infrastructure or industrial environments.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
