About QMC

The Queensland Multicultural Centre (QMC) is one of Brisbane’s most distinctive exhibition and event venues, located beneath the iconic Story Bridge on the historic Yungaba site. Opened in 2012, this purpose‑built facility was created to foster unity, inclusion and a solid sense of belonging. By providing a space where cultural backgrounds can be shared and celebrated, QMC supports intercultural understanding and appreciation of diversity. With a wide range of versatile spaces for both community and corporate use, the Centre invites people to connect through performance, arts and events.

Managed by Multicultural Australia, QMC features a large theatre‑style performance space alongside multiple function and multi‑purpose rooms suitable for events, meetings and seminars. Additional facilities include a commercial kitchen, box office and bar. Situated in the inner‑city suburb of Kangaroo Point, QMC also partners with organizations across the precinct to deliver customised event solutions, including professional technical services, accommodation options, ticketing, photography, videography and more.
