SUNTON TECH PTY LTD is seeking an IT Support Junior Engineer to join our growing technical support team in Sydney. This is a full-time position based in Sydney NSW 2000. As an IT Support Junior Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our help desk operations, providing essential technical support to our internal teams and external clients. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our users receive timely, professional and effective solutions to their IT-related issues, helping to maintain productivity across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Provide prompt and efficient technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Level 1 inquiries.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems for Level 2 escalations.
Assist with user account management, password resets, and access rights.
Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
Maintain and update the knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
What we're looking for
A minimum of two years' relevant experience in an IT support or help desk function
Sound working knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS and the Microsoft 365 Suite (Office, Outlook)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, underpinned by a patient and service-oriented approach
Exceptional organisational skills,
with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin would be considered an advantage
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work independently within a fast-paced environment
A high level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
