About the Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, our Maintenance Officeris responsible for delivering general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings,Homesand associated structuresin accordance withthe Home Maintenance Plan to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents,staffand visitors.

- Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility
- Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors
- Ensure an aesthetic,compliantand safe working environment
- Ensure maintenance and repairs of property including facilities including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, checking andmaintainingair conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal, and general repairs
- Ensure planned maintenance ofHomeassetsareexecutedin accordance withthe Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements
- Ensure all maintenance activitycomplies withrelevant legislation
- Use preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and follow workflow procedures
- Carry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines

To be successful you will have:

Hands on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.

- Min 2years’ experiencein a similar role
- Experience in Contractor Management
- Experience in managing site maintenance budgets, workordersand requisitions
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge & application of relevant legislation requirements, codes & standards
- Moderate Computer literacy
- Current drivers’ licence




- A pre-employment medical assessment will berequiredfor this role
- Prior to commencement - complete aNational PoliceCheckand or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
