The position suits an experienced Wet Pipe Fire Suppressions System Designer with competency & experience modelling 3d fire systems using revit, confirming co-ordination using navisworks & drafting 2d fire systems using autocad. Experience working with microbim fire tools for revit is also a requirement for 3d design processes.

Competency & experience using revizto & acc/forma may be an advantage but is not essential.

Undertaking hydraulic calculations using hyena & experience applying the bca/ncc, australian & international standards and local authority & legislation requirements to design processes are essential as are good all round communication skills.

The ability to work with others as part of a team & also individually with minimal supervision is required & this opportunity will provide a mix of time based in the office, on site & at home for the successful applicant.

Tertiary &/or industry level qualification/training in fire systems design or related engineering may be an advantage however is not essential as would be a general construction industry training card as required for construction site visits.
