Are you the type of person who loves being on the factory floor, understanding how things work, and constantly asking, "How can we do this better?"

We're looking for a hands-on Quality & Compliance Manager who thrives on being involved in the day-to-day operation, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping drive quality excellence across a complex and growing manufacturing environment.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. You'll need to enjoy being "in it" - working closely with production teams, understanding products, developing practical systems, and creating processes that genuinely support manufacturing outcomes.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll initially immerse yourself in our products, manufacturing systems, and processes. In the first few months, you'll quickly discover we have a diverse product range and plenty of opportunities to add value and your focus will be on learning the business, documenting processes, developing SOPs and work instructions, and strengthening our quality systems to support consistent manufacturing outcomes.

Over time, you'll work closely with our Production and Research & Development teams, becoming a key support resource for quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing and maintaining manufacturing procedures, documentation, SOPs, and process instructions.
- Capturing critical manufacturing information and integrating it into quality systems.
- Supporting production teams with practical quality solutions.
- Assisting in the prevention and reduction of non-conformances.
- Reviewing processes and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Working closely with Quality Control Operators to provide technical and procedural support.




- Collaborating with Production and R&D; teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded into manufacturing processes.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of product-specific quality management systems.

What We're Looking For

- A practical, hands-on approach and genuine interest in manufacturing operations with experience in Quality, Compliance, Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong process development and documentation skills and experience writing SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- The ability to engage with production teams and build credibility on the floor.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for identifying efficiencies and driving positive change.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions that support production outcomes.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting Quality Control activities and reducing non-conformances will be highly regarded.
- Someone who enjoys being immersed in the operation, learning how products are made, and driving quality improvements from the ground up.
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (essential).
