About the role

As a Field Service Technician, you will support our ready-mix concrete and precast customers by installing, maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting concrete-admixture dispensing equipment.

This is a practical, customer-facing position that combines mechanical problem-solving, preventative maintenance and on-site technical support. You will work closely with customers, sales representatives and our technical and operations teams to ensure dispensing equipment operates safely, reliably and accurately.

The role would suit an experienced tradesperson or maintenance technician looking for greater customer interaction and the opportunity to develop a longer-term career within the construction chemicals industry.

Full product and industry training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

- Install and commission concrete-admixture dispensing equipment at customer sites.

- Diagnose equipment faults and complete timely breakdown repairs.

- Conduct routine calibration of dispensing equipment.

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.

- Assist with product and equipment changeovers at customer plants.

- Maintain accurate service, calibration and breakdown records.

- Provide customers with practical training in the safe and correct operation of dispensing equipment.

- Communicate technical issues and customer feedback to our sales and technical teams.

- Assist with field trials and other customer-support activities when required.





- Build positive working relationships with customer production, maintenance and quality-control personnel.

- Complete all work in accordance with company and customer safety requirements.

About you

You will be a practical and dependable problem-solver who enjoys working independently and interacting with customers.

Ideally, you will have:

- A mechanical trade or relevant technical background, such as diesel mechanic, motor mechanic, fitter and turner, maintenance fitter, welder/fabricator, plumber or similar.

- Experience maintaining, servicing or repairing mechanical equipment.

- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

- Good organisational and time-management skills.

- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- A strong customer-service mindset.

- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

- Basic computer skills and the ability to complete service documentation.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

- A current Australian driver’s licence.

- The ability to travel to customer sites, including occasional regional and interstate travel.

Experience in concrete, construction materials, manufacturing, pumps, fluid-handling systems or industrial dosing equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
