Working as part of our Migration Skills Assessment team, you'll play a vital role in helping skilled professionals navigate Australia's migration process. This position combines pre-assessment and administrative responsibilities, ensuring applications are processed accurately, efficiently and with a high standard of customer service. You'll work closely with applicants, migration agents, assessors and internal teams to deliver a seamless assessment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Migration Skills Assessment Pre-Assessment
- Review applications and supporting documentation to ensure they are complete and ready for assessment.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and liaise with applicants or migration agents to obtain the required documentation.
- Evaluate overseas qualifications using the Department of Education's Country Education Profile and other recognised resources.
- Complete the pre-assessment component of the assessment checklist, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Allocate applications to the appropriate assessor based on assessment criteria.
- Support assessors by coordinating employment reference checks and providing administrative assistance where required.
Migration Skills Assessment Administration
- Deliver qualified, timely and responsive customer service via phone and email, assisting applicants with enquiries throughout the assessment process.
- Maintain accurate records by entering applications and related information into Salesforce and other systems.
- Prepare and quality-check outcome letters, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Migration Skills Assessment service.
