About the Role
We are seeking highly experienced Clinical/Care Managers with strong expertise in residential aged care clinical governance and risk management.
In this role, you will:
- Provide oversight of all clinical risks across the service while working alongside an agency RN temporarily acting in the Clinical Manager position.
- Support a newly appointed Facility Manager as they transition from the Care Manager role.
- Deliver leadership, guidance and mentoring to the clinical team.
- Monitor and manage clinical incidents, resident deterioration, wound management, falls, medication management, restrictive practices and other identified clinical risks.
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly Clinical Risk and Governance meetings.
- Ensure outstanding actions are followed through and agreed controls are implemented.
- Promote accountability and strengthen clinical leadership across the nursing team.
- Assist in reducing avoidable clinical risks and improving resident outcomes.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Extensive experience in residential aged care clinical leadership, governance and risk management.
- The ability to work independently with minimal orientation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Highly Desirable
- Previous experience using RiskMan and iCare.
- Strong understanding of aged care compliance, accreditation standards and quality improvement processes.

- A suitability interview with the Director of Residential Services is required prior to placement.
- Independent accommodation is available at both locations.
