The Role

This is not a front-desk position. We're looking for a true operator — someone who takes ownership of the studio, leads the team with clarity and purpose, and drives the business forward every single day.

As Studio Manager at Studio Vela Harrington Park, you'll have the autonomy to lead, the backing of a strong HQ team, and real prospect to grow within a brand that's expanding fast. If you thrive in an environment where performance matters and standards are high, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Facility Management

- Oversee daily studio operations and set the standard for presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure equipment is maintained, safe and to Studio Vela standard at all times
- Manage staff rosters and ensure appropriate shift coverage
- Monitor compliance and safety requirements
- Liaise with maintenance providers and manage facilities as required

People & Performance

- Lead, train and performance-manage reception and floor staff
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to KPIs
- Conduct regular check-ins and formal performance reviews
- Build a high-performance, positive studio culture

Membership & Revenue Growth

- Drive membership sales, retention and conversion targets
- Oversee lead management, follow-up systems and pipeline reporting




- Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Track and report on revenue performance and trends

Administration & Finance

- Monitor revenue, expenses and studio reporting
- Ensure accurate record-keeping in MindBody
- Oversee billing, membership compliance and stock management
- Support financial planning and budgeting as required

Who We're Looking For

You are a confident, commercially minded leader who brings energy to the floor and discipline to the numbers. You care deeply about client experience and hold yourself — and your team — to a high standard.

You bring:

- Proven experience in studio, gym, fitness, or operations management
- A strong track record in membership sales and team leadership
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- The ability to manage both people and systems with equal confidence
- A genuine passion for fitness, wellness and delivering a premium experience
- Availability across staffed hours, including some weekends
- Previous experience in a Pilates or boutique fitness environment is highly regarded but not essential. We care more about who you are than where you've been.

Mon–Fri: 6am-8pm

Sat-Sun: 6am-11am (Depending on availability)

$100,000–$120,000 + Superannuation (full-time)
