Sales Assistant – Trainee or Experienced | Training Provided

Modubuild is a Bathurst-based modular building business supplying practical building solutions for construction, commercial, industrial, government and regional projects. Our customers range from local builders to government buyers, so the work is varied and genuinely interesting.

About the Role

This is an office-based sales support role. You'll work closely with our senior sales team, supporting the sales process from first enquiry through to quote follow-up and handover — and your work directly helps win projects.

To be upfront: this is not a travelling sales rep job, and it's not a counter or retail role. You'll spend your day at a desk — on the phone, on email, researching opportunities and keeping our sales pipeline moving. If you like following things through properly and seeing results build over time, you'll enjoy it.

What You'll Be Doing

- Handling inbound sales enquiries by phone and email
- Researching potential customers, projects, contacts and opportunities




- Following up quotes and keeping opportunities warm
- Asking the right questions to understand timing, needs and next steps
- Keeping detailed, accurate records in our CRM
- Preparing notes and background information for senior sales follow-up
- Helping plan sales calls, client visits and follow-up activity
- Over time, learning our products and supporting the quoting process

- Reliable, organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable making phone calls and persistent with follow-up
- Professional in emails and conversations
- Curious enough to research opportunities properly
- Confident with computers and quick to learn new systems
- Coachable, practical and keen to build a real career

Experience in sales, CRM systems or construction is helpful but not essential — training will be provided.
