BVW Group is a medium sized commercial glazing company servicing mostly South East Qld thats been operating for over 25 years.
We primarily deal with large construction companies in supply, manufacture, and installation of all glass and glazing needs. Our youthful dynamic team of employees are based between the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
Our factory operates from Caboolture and the team services the various projects and jobsites from here daily.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Payroll Assistant to join our team in Caboolture on a part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced business environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and meeting deadlines. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting payroll operations and Project supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and managing accounts payable
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Customer account reconciliations
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Payroll administration (including time sheet processing and payroll preparation)
- Assisting with month-end processesLiaising with internal teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- General Admin and assistance with Team
- Maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and/or Payroll
- Reconciliation skills (Customer & GL essential)
- Experience using MYOB highly preferred
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Professional communication skills
