Jimboomba Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the operational and business performance of our well-established, GP-owned medical practice. Working closely with the Practice Principals, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure excellence in patient care, business performance, workforce leadership, governance and sustainable growth.

About the Role

Provide strategic and operational leadership across all non-clinical areas of the practice.

Lead and develop a high-performing administrative and reception team.

Oversee finance including payroll, contractor payments, accounts, budgeting and reporting.

Monitor business performance and KPI reporting for the Practice Principals.

Lead recruitment, workforce planning, staff development and performance management.

Maintain accreditation, governance, privacy, WHS and quality improvement systems.

Oversee practice policies,



risk management, cybersecurity and IT in partnership with the IT provider.

Support strategic planning, business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Proficiency with Best Practice (BP) Clinical Software.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Experience using MYOB accounting software.

Ability to analyse business performance and prepare management reports.

Experience with PRODA, TANDA, Cubiko, PracticeHub or similar healthcare management systems will be highly regarded.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

A minimum of two years' experience as a Practice Manager in an accredited Australian General Practice.

Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.

Strong financial management skills including payroll, budgeting, accounts and business reporting.

Experience in recruitment, workforce planning and staff performance management.

Knowledge of RACGP accreditation, quality improvement, privacy legislation and WHS requirements.

Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Hours: Monday to Friday + on call.
Salary: Competitive remuneration negotiated according to experience.
