About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Apply clinical midwifery expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of woman and baby centred care.
- Develop in partnership with women individualised care plans for antenatal,



postnatal and intrapartum care and may extend to women's health, sexual or reproductive health, preparation for parenthood and childcare.
- Maintain woman and baby safety, risk minimisation and safe work activities within the practice setting.
