What We're Looking For

- Trade qualification in Engineering/Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding).
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder on industrial, oil & gas, or mining shutdowns.
- Valid welding tickets and codes (e.g., AS1796 or relevant pressure welding tickets highly regarded).
- Construction White Card.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and QA/QC standards.
- Ability to work productively within a team, meet tight deadlines, and follow site instructions.
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality pipe welding (TIG/MMAW/FCAW)



to strict site and structural specifications.
- Read and accurately interpret isometric drawings, plans, and welding specifications.
- Execute pipe preparation, fit-up, and welding of various pipe sizes and materials.
- Work closely on the ground alongside fitters, riggers, and other trades to hit shutdown targets.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet stringent quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free, and tidy work area.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
