SEQ Formwork and Hire Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our team in Alberton.
This is a hands‑on role working within our workshop and yard environment, carrying out fabrication, repairs, and maintenance on construction equipment, formwork systems, and associated machinery.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety‑focused, and takes pride in producing quality work.
This is a full‑time position with approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available as required.
What you’ll be doing
- Fabrication and repair work on formwork equipment and construction machinery
- Welding, cutting, grinding, and general metal fabrication
- Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements
- Repairing and maintaining steel components, frames, and equipment
- Modifying and improving existing equipment as required
- General workshop and yard duties
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
What we’re looking for
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator (preferred)
- Previous fabrication and welding experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid attention to detail and quality workmanshipReliable, hardworking, and safety‑conscious attitude
- Ability to work outdoors and in a busy workshop environment
Advantageous skills and tickets
Experience with the following would be highly regarded:
- Construction equipment repairs
- Formwork or steel fabrication
- Hydraulic repairs
- Crane, dogging, or rigging tickets
- Forklift licence
- EWP licence
- White Card
