The role
We’re looking for an experienced Customer Service & Product Assistant to work alongside the Store Manager to deliver outstanding service to existing and new customers and support merchandising and product management across workwear, PPE, footwear and corporate wear.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service in-store and by phone/email; build rapport with new and repeat customers
- Advise customers on product fit, features, compliance (PPE) and suitable solutions
- Assist the Store Manager with merchandising, stock presentation, replenishment and inventory checks
- Support product receiving, labelling, pricing and displays for workwear, footwear and corporate ranges
- Process sales transactions, returns and exchanges accurately
- Maintain product knowledge and keep up to date with new ranges and supplier information
- Take ownership of tasks,
follow through on customer enquiries and contribute ideas for store improvement
About you
- Previous retail/customer service experience, preferably with merchandising or product handling (workwear, PPE or footwear advantageous)
- Robust verbal communication and customer-focused mindset
- Self-starter who takes ownership, works well with minimal supervision and supports the team
- Attention to detail, reliable and punctual
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic inventory tools; willingness to learn supplier/product systems
Working hours & location
- Full time, based at Totally Workwear Hemmant. Weekend or early/late shifts as required by store roster.
