HRMU is a fast‑growing construction group with multiple specialist divisions operating across NSW. Known for reliability, speed and quality on site, HRMU is backed by an ambitious leadership team and a collaborative, high‑energy culture. As the scaffolding division continues to expand, we’re looking for a driven, relationship‑focused Business Development Manager to help take the business to the next level.

This role offers a genuine career pathway — starting with residential and small commercial projects and progressing into larger commercial and infrastructure work as your capability grows. You will manage the sales process end‑to‑end, working closely with Operations and Accounts to ensure seamless project delivery.

About the Role

- Outbound business development, cold calling and proactive prospecting
- Identifying opportunities across residential, small commercial and light‑infrastructure sectors
- Building and managing a qualified sales pipeline
- Managing inbound leads from marketing and referrals
- Conducting site visits, reviewing plans and recommending scaffolding solutions
- Preparing and following up quotes, negotiating and closing opportunities
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Keeping CRM data accurate and up to date




- Collaborating with Operations and Accounts and contributing to weekly pipeline reviews

About You

You are commercially minded, results‑driven and confident engaging with builders, subcontractors and site personnel. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, take initiative, communicate clearly and enjoy building strong relationships. You are adaptable, open to feedback and bring a team‑first attitude.

Essential

- Strong sales and business development background
- Construction industry experience
- Confident communicator with site‑based stakeholders
- Solid understanding of construction terminology and processes
- Current Driver’s License
- Proficient computer literacy (CRM, Microsoft Office)
- Minimum High School Certificate

Highly Regarded (Not Essential)

- Basic Scaffolding License (SB)
