Infrex is a Sunshine Coast-based civil, structural, marine, building and environmental infrastructure contractor delivering projects across South East Queensland. We're a Local Buy prequalified supplier and QBCC licensed builder, trusted by Sunshine Coast Council and government stakeholders including TMR and Maritime Safety Queensland to deliver complex civil and marine works — from stormwater renewals and road upgrades to landslide remediation, resource recovery centre infrastructure and coastal protection.

We're growing, and we need an experienced Site Foreman who can run a crew, hold the line on quality and safety, and help us build a reputation as the region's most reliable civil contractor.

Key Responsibilities

- Day-to-day site supervision, plant allocation and crew leadership across active civil works.

- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and daily production targets to keep programmes on track.

- Enforcing quality control in line with Infrex's IMS and project specifications — including Hold Points and Witness Points, compaction and proof-roll testing,



survey levels and pipe-laying tolerances.

- Driving site safety culture: toolbox talks, pre-starts, site inductions and hazard/incident reporting.

- Interfacing effectively with Project Managers, client engineers and council/DTMR superintendents to keep communication transparent and issues resolved fast.

- Maintaining accurate site records (daily reports, sign-in registers, ITPs) to support quality and contract administration.

About You

- 3–5+ years' experience as a Site Foreman in civil infrastructure — earthworks, drainage, roadworks or utilities.

- Strong working knowledge of SEQ local government requirements (e.g. Sunshine Coast Council), DTMR, or Unitywater standards and specifications.

- Current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred).

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Relevant supervisor/safety qualifications advantageous — S1, S2, S3 or RIIRIS402E.

- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey setups and project specifications.

- A hands-on leader who takes genuine ownership of site quality, safety and production.
