Westside Bus Company Pty Ltd (part of the Pulitano Group of Companies) is currently seeking aSenior Network Controllerto join our Service Delivery team at our Redbank depot.

This permanent role reports to the Operations Manager and it is responsible for monitoring and managing our bus network across Queensland and Victoria.

Our company specialises in providing School, and Urban, services in the South East Queensland, as well as Melbourne and Country Victoria.

About the role

- Work in accordance with secure working procedures and instructions and comply with the accredited bus operator’s Management Information System.
- Manage fatigue in line with NHVL work and rest options
- Support the Network Controllers in the day-to-day operations of the Central Control Room.




- Ensure operational records are maintained in accordance with the Standards.
- Monitor that incident reporting requirements are completed by Network Controllers.
- Provide training and supporting new and existing staff.
- Assist the Operations Manager with monthly reporting requirements.
- Manage network interruptions in accordance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

- Knowledge of the Queensland and Victorian networks
- Experience in transport operations
- Experience in managing staff resources
- Basic Fatigue Management Qualifications
- Knowledge of employment legislation such as NES and Awards
- Knowledge of Transport Legislation
- The ability to build positive relationships with employees
- An ability to work in a busy environment and manage competing priorities
- The ability to contribute positively to the effective operation of a work team
- Intermediate computer literacy
