A full time vacancy exists for a qualified Rubber/Industrial Chemist, to work in the Sydney area for the company Narayan Innovation Pty Ltd trading as Australian Ultra Polymers.

Minimum of a relevant Degree and one years relevant experience required.

Salary package – $82K to $90K per annum + superannuation

Duties include:

- Develop and improve rubber compound formulations to meet product performance and manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, rubber compounds and finished products.
- Analyse laboratory results, investigate product failures or quality variations, and recommend corrective action.
- Monitor mixing, curing and production processes to ensure compliance with approved formulations and product specifications.
- Research and assess alternative raw materials and processing methods to improve quality, sustainability and cost efficiency.
- Support the scale-up of laboratory formulations to full production and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing defects.
- Prepare and maintain formulation sheets, laboratory reports, standard operating procedures and quality-control records.
