TheRole

GRS O&M; specialized in managing, maintenance and operating utility scale PV solar projects worldwide, is currently seeking a Control Centre Operator to remotely monitor the operation and performance of solar and battery projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitoring and Control: Constantly monitoring the operation of solar PV plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS) through SCADA or other control systems. They ensure optimal performance by tracking real-time data, detecting anomalies, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnosing technical issues related to the operation of PV systems and batteries. The operator responds to alarms and resolves issues remotely or coordinates with local teams for on-site intervention.




- Data analysis: reviewing production graphs and ensuring all meteorological sensors are recording data and verifying the operation mode of all devices.
- Coordination with Field Teams: Working closely with on-site technicians, maintenance teams, and external contractors to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out promptly and safely.
- Data Reporting: Preparing and delivering regular reports on plant performance, including metrics like energy output, efficiency, system health, and incidents. They provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Technical Engineer or higher - specialized in Electrical.
- This position has a rotating shift-based time sched
- No relevant experience required but RCC knowledge
