Are you an experienced disability professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career?
Equality Disability & Healthcare Services, An Australian family-owned organisation founded in 2018, is seeking a passionate and motivated SIL Team Leader. You will lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services and help deliver exceptional, person-centred support to NDIS participants.
Due to continual growth,we are looking for someone exceptional to be part of our journey, who is either already a SIL Team leader or looking to make the next step up in their career and become one.
As a SIL Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support Disability Support Workers
- Coordinate daily SIL operations and staffing
- Ensure compliance with NDIS and organisational standards
- Support participants to achieve their goals and independence
- Ability to manage incidents, risk and competing operational priorities.
- Build positive relationships with families and stakeholders
- Drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ability to provide direction to staff while also holding them accountable
- Passionate about empowering people with disability
- Willing to provide hands-on support, including personal care when required
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in the Disability/Community services, ideally within SIL or complex supports
- Certificate III in Disability Support (minimum)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
