About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants within their homes and communities while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting community access, appointments, shopping and social participation
- Supporting participants with individual goals and capacity building
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation using our digital systems
- Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators and the wider care team
- Promoting participant rights, dignity, privacy and independence at all times

- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

- High standard of documentation and professionalism
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) where applicable
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone suitable for mobile workforce applications
- Australian working rights
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or Community Services
- Experience supporting participants with complex care needs
- Manual Handling training
- Medication competency
- Mental Health experience
- Behaviour Support experience
- High Intensity Support Skills
- Nursing students are encouraged to apply
