About the Role

We are seeking a handful of motivated and compassionate Private Practice Dietitian's to join our growing team. This role offers the prospect to work with a diverse range of clients in local medical centres, building relationships with medical staff and other onsite allied health.

Whether you're a new graduate ready to begin your career or an experienced clinician looking for flexible work, we welcome applicants who are passionate about evidence-based nutrition care and building meaningful client relationships.

We are hiring in multiple areas, including Newcastle NSW (part time) and Brisbane QLD (casual).

Current Brisbane locations are within Griffin QLD 4503 and Salisbury QLD 4107 with the potential to work in other surrounding suburbs within 3 months of starting - Brisbane is an immediate start with ideal candidate being on-site within 2-4 weeks.

Newcastle locations are 2.5 total days per week, located mostly in the Hunter Valley area, with a few clinics in Newcastle and Central Coast NSW - Successful applicant to start Mid- September 2026





Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual nutrition consultations to clients across various settings, delivering personalised and evidence-based nutrition advice aligned with clients' goals, needs, and preferences.

- Complete all associated administration tasks, including:

- Clinical notes

- Report and letter writing

- Client correspondence

- Meal plan development

- Diet analysis

- Invoicing and other documentation

- Maintain accurate and detailed client records and communicate effectively with referring practitioners and members of the client's healthcare team.

- Deliver group education sessions and presentations as required.

- Build and maintain referral networks through community engagement and marketing activities, including liaising with GPs, medical centres, allied health professionals, and attending GP lunches.

- Assist with client appointment rescheduling when required, ensuring a positive client experience and continuity of care.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.

- Current membership with Dietitian Australia.

- Professional Indemnity Insurance

- Public Liability Insurance

- Current Working With Children Check.

- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months).

- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.





- Current Driver's Licence.

- Valid Australian work authorisation or appropriate visa permitting employment in Australia.

Experience

- New graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Demonstrated knowledge of current evidence-based nutrition practice.

- A special interest in one or more of the following areas is highly regarded:

- Chronic disease management

- Weight management

- Women's health

- Eating disorders

- Gastrointestinal and gut health concerns

Skills & Attributes

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Robust rapport-building abilities and a genuine passion for helping people feel comfortable and supported.

- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Ability to complete and finalise clinical notes by the end of each working day.

- Professional, collaborative, and proactive approach to client care and teamwork.
