Simmons Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our growing team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for skilled tradespeople to contribute to the construction of major projects within the region.
What you'll be doing
- Interpret plans and engineered drawings
- Construct complex formwork, tie mesh and steel cages ensuring quality parameters are met
- Place and finish concrete within heavy industry
- Use the latest repair methods for concrete remediation projects
- Install large structures, bollards and buildings on-site
- Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
- Adhere to site specific work health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
- Carpentry, steelfixing or concreting trade certificate or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated expertise in formwork construction and/or concrete placement
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Current white card and open manual drivers licence
