We're seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join a major cloud transformation program within a large organisation. This is an opportunity to help establish a new Cloud Architecture capability and shape the future direction of enterprise cloud services across a range of strategic digital initiatives.
About the role
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing secure, scalable and resilient Azure architectures
- Establishing Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks and cloud standards
- Leading on-premises to Azure migration initiatives
- Driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices
- Providing architectural leadership across cloud, security and engineering teams
- Developing solution designs, governance artefacts and technical documentation
- Supporting Azure identity, Entra ID, RBAC and Zero Trust implementations
About you
You'll bring experience with:
- Enterprise Azure architecture (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)
- Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance
- Azure Identity, Entra ID, RBAC and Zero Trust
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar)
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Large-scale Azure migrations and cloud transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence technical decisions
