Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our growing team. Your duties and responsibilities are as follows: Responsibilities: Responsible for applying engineering principles to the design, installation, modernization, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of lift systems. Main tasks:
- Design and develop technical solutions for lift installation and modernisation projects.
- Review engineering drawings and prepare technical specifications.
- Plan and coordinate installation activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Investigate complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in lift systems.
- Analyse equipment performance and implement engineering improvements to enhance reliability and safety.
- Supervise commissioning, testing, and acceptance of lift installations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and relevant industry regulations.
- Prepare engineering reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation and maintenance teams.
- Liaise with clients, builders, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities on engineering matters.
Skills required:
- Applying engineering principles to lift installation and maintenance projects.
- Analysing complex mechanical, electrical, and control system problems.
- Preparing engineering designs, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Managing engineering aspects of installation, commissioning, and modernisation projects.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and relevant building regulations.
- Investigating equipment failures and implementing effective engineering solutions.
- Coordinating technical activities with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to installation and maintenance personnel.
- Managing engineering quality, safety, and project performance.
- Using engineering software and diagnostic tools to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Qualification requirement: A relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline. Experience required: 2 years relevant experience after qualification was obtained Wages: $80k-90k per year + super
