An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Claims Officer to join Australia’slargest family-owned food service distributor.
About the Role
As a Claims Officer, you will play a key role in investigating stock discrepancies, customer claims, and inventory-related issues within a busy warehouse environment. You will work closely with operational teams to identify causes, track stock movements, and ensure accurate reporting and resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and processing claims and stock discrepancy reports
- Conducting data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Reviewing CCTV footage to investigate stock movements and claims
- Walking the warehouse floor to investigate lost stock and inventory discrepancies
- Following up on stock locations and customer claims with relevant stakeholders
- Generating reports relating to claims, inventory,
and stock investigations
- Liaising with warehouse operations teams to support timely claim resolutions
About You
- Previous experience in warehouse administration
- Demonstrated experience with inventory control and stock management
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems and produce reports
- Excellent attention to detail and investigative skills
- Robust communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Immediate availability to commence employment
