About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and collaborative HR team. This is a true generalist role supporting leaders and employees across a diverse workforce.
Working in a hands‑on environment, you will partner with stakeholders across the business to provide practical HR advice and contribute to a range of people initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Providing HR advice and coaching to managers on day-to-day people matters
- Supporting employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations
- Managing probation reviews, employment changes and offboarding processes
- Assisting with interpretation of employment legislation, awards and HR policies
- Supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Maintaining HR records,
reporting and compliance activities
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects and broader People & Culture initiatives
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, building strong relationships and being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture Advisor position
- Experience supporting operational or blue-collar workforces is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confidence managing employee relations and performance matters
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, proactive and approachable working style
- Experience with HRIS systems; payroll exposure is beneficial but not essential
