A fantastic opportunity waits for a high quality and experienced Practice Manager who wishes to join a leading financial planning business in Maroubra. Reporting to the Director of this firm, the role will provide the successful candidate with a rewarding, but challenging working environment. If you are hungry for success, great at engaging clients, and technically sound in financial planning as well as the advice process, this role may be right for you.
The successful candidate must have at least 5+ years' experience in a Practice Manager position of an existing financial planning business. You will have a solid understanding of Xplan, office administration, workflows and the advice process within a wealth management practice.
- Supports Principal to ensure smooth running of the firm on a daily basis.
- Management of invoice generation and payment.
- Conduct training and on boarding of new staff members.
- Liaise with third parties to ensure smooth operations of office functions.
- Ensures the maintenance of office supplies (kitchen, stationery and 1st aid).
- Develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
- Oversee office workflow and ensures the practices of office is upheld and followed by staff.
- Manages, organises and implements key projects as identified by management team.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflow,
investigate and implement new methods of workflow.
- Ensures the management of office policies.
- Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
- Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within department.
- Conducts database checks and reporting to ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Conducts six monthly reporting of financials to the bank.
Required Skills
- At least 5+ years' experience in a Client Service Management position leading a team of financial planners, para-planners and administration support staff.
- Robust IT capabilities in managing systems and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Xplan.
- Excellent communication and results driven.
- High level of interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Prior experience of leading a team.
