About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full (or part) time Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Psychology Registrar to work at the Chronic Pain Clinic at Orange Base Hospital.

As an integral member of the pain multidisciplinary team, this permanent role will deliver skilled and evidence-based psychological consultation for consumers of the pain clinic. Duties of this position may include evaluating, identifying, modifying and treating non-physiological factors contributing to a patient’s concerns. This may include working with groups, individuals and families.

The successful applicant(s) will also have the opportunity to attend internal supervision and training, and access to CPD and specialised training (internally and externally).

The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians working together to support people learn new skills to manage their chronic pain and distress.
