About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically driven engineer with strong expertise in AMD Embedded x86 processors and FPGA. This ideal candidate is passionate about helping customers to develop next-generation intelligent systems and is eager to embrace emerging technologies such as Agentic AI, physical AI and autonomous computing.

Preferably candidate that has passion for continuous learning in current AI technologies and computing architectures with proactive and results-driven attitude.

You will be working with a team of Sales, Field application engineers and Product Marketing to develop and execute successful demand creation programs within ANZ region.

The role involves both technical engagement and administrative tasks with a significant portion of time is spent customer facing. Of note is that the position will cover customers across Australia and New Zealand.

What You'll Do (responsibilities)

Provide engineering support as well as early system solution consultation to assigned customers.



Provide design guidance and troubleshooting/debug/issue resolution throughout the customer's design & development phases.

Conduct customer site seminars and trainings to support project designs.

Utilize engineering expertise to build and execute a business strategy that will properly promote AMD supplier products to the right engineering design customers in the market and achieve accelerated revenue growth.

Document customer activity through CRM entries.

Attend supplier training and taking part in QBRs.

What You'll Need (qualifications)

Bachelor of Computer Science &/or Electronics Engineering Degree or similar engineering discipline.

Minimum 2 years in Embedded x86 & FPGA experience with the ability to engage customers from architecture definition through production

Passion for continuous learning in new AI technologies and computing architectures

Proactive and results-driven approach.

Proficient in C/C++ knowledge & Python programming;

Experience with AMD x86 Embedded CPU and Xilinx MPSOC/FPGA products is preferred.

Keen to help other engineers to bring successful projects to market
