Temp/Casual Contract

At Energy Staff, we specialise in delivering high-quality hospitality professionals to aged care providers across Brisbane and regional Queensland. We’re currently looking for experienced chefs to join our casual workforce for ongoing shifts across aged care facilities – from residential care kitchens to retirement living dining services.

What We're Looking For:

- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Chef, ideally with aged care or healthcare kitchen exposure
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher
- Strong, practical understanding of texture-modified meals (IDDSI levels), pureed and minced diets, and therapeutic/special diets
- Experience catering to high dietary and allergen complexity across a resident group
- Confidence managing high-volume, consistent service within aged care rostering and meal-time structures
- Current Police Check (NDIS/aged care worker screening highly regarded)
- Reliable transport
- Genuine care for resident wellbeing — patience, compassion, and an understanding of the aged care environment




- Ability to step into a facility kitchen and hit the ground running with minimal supervision
