Diagnostic Services in Hobart is seeking a Medical Scientist to support the histology/cytology workflow with careful specimen reception, accessioning and accurate data handling. The role involves cut-up, embedding and microtomy of tissue specimens, plus routine and special staining including immunochemistry and the allocation of slides to pathologists.

A degree in Medical Laboratory Science is required, with a strong eye for detail and QA experience; histopathology experience in a NATA‑accredited
