Our client is an established and growing not-for-profit organisation. They are based on the Northern Beaches and accessible by public transport. They are going through a significant operational change to positively transform and shape the finance function. Their leadership team is approachable and keen on building a strong future. Additionally, they also do offer some flexibility for hybrid WFH arrangement after training.

The Role

This is a permanent and full time Financial Accountant position where you will be responsible for the following:

- End-to-end month-end close process (journals,



accruals, prepayments, lease accounting, fixed assets, bank recs, revenue recognition)
- Preparing monthly financial statements like cash flow reports, balance sheet and P&L; statement
- Assist with audit and prepare statutory accounts
- Back up for the payroll function

Your Background

We are looking for candidates who fit the following profile:

- More than 3 years of local working experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong month end processes and reporting experience
- Prior experience and willingness to establish financial processes, work papers and guidelines
- Possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills to deal with stakeholders
- Desire to work for a growing not-for-profit organisation
