Invisible Orthodontics is seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our team in Parrearra, QLD on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental qualified to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality orthodontic care in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve optimal oral health outcomes whilst working alongside our experienced orthodontic team. This position offers flexibility and the chance to develop your clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare setting.
What you’ll be doing
Providing comprehensive preventative and therapeutic orthodontic care to patients of all ages
Conducting thorough patient assessments, including oral health evaluations and periodontal screenings
Performing orthodontic adjustments
Applying braces and attachments
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventative care
Assisting the orthodontic team with patient preparation and monitoring during treatment
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments to the highest standards
Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experiences
Following all infection control protocols and health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for
Current registration as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist with the Dental Board of Australia/AHPRA
Strong clinical knowledge and practical experience in dental hygiene or therapy practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about oral health
A patient-centred approach with a commitment to providing compassionate care
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency in dental software systems and electronic patient records
A genuine interest in orthodontics and continuing professional development
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to a casual work schedule
