We are seeking reliable, experienced Disability Support Workers to provide 1:1 support to participants working towards greater independence and community access.
About the Role
Assist participants with daily living activities and personal care
Support community access and participation in activities that matter to them
Provide prompting, supervision and structured support as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting
Work collaboratively with participants, families and other stakeholders
Essential Experience & Skills
Previous experience in disability or community support (preferred but not essential — training provided)
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed care principles
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality care
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or related field (or working towards)
