Storeperson - Electrical Supply Warehouse

Location: Pinkenba, QLD

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Contract: Short-term assignment with strong potential for long-term oppurtunity

Pay Rate: $35.56/hr (Without LF Licence) | $38.33/hr (With LF Licence)

About the Role

As a Storeperson, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and accurately. This is a hands-on position where you will be working with a diverse range of electrical components, cables, and equipment.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately selecting electrical goods using pick slips or RF scanners, ensuring items are securely packed for transit.
- Receiving & Dispatch: Unloading incoming deliveries, verifying stock against delivery dockets, and preparing outgoing shipments for couriers.
- Inventory Control: Assisting with stocktakes, replenishing shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Forklift Operations (If Licenced): Utilizing a forklift to safely move, stack, and organize pallets of heavy electrical equipment.
- Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in line with OHS standards.

What We Are Looking For

- Licences & Pay Structure: A current LF (Forklift) licence is highly advantageous and attracts a $38.33/hr rate.



Experienced storepeople without a ticket are also encouraged to apply at a competitive $35.56/hr rate.
- Experience: Previous experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment (exposure to electrical or industrial products is a massive plus).
- Fitness: Comfort with physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Attitude: A robust work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be able to start immediately and commit to the full 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday schedule.
